My Swoon for this week comes from:

Stay with Me
(Wait for You #3)
by
Jennifer L. Armentrout

First - The Blurb:

At 21, Calla hasn't done a lot of things. She’s never been kissed, never seen the ocean, never gone to an amusement park. But growing up, she witnessed some things no child ever should. She still carries the physical and emotional scars of living with a strung-out mother, Mona—secrets she keeps from everyone, including her close circle of college friends.

But the safe cocoon Calla has carefully built is shattered when she discovers her mom has stolen her college money and run up a huge credit card debt in her name. Now, Calla has to go back to the small town she thought shed left behind and clean up her mom’s mess again. Of course, when she arrives at her mother’s bar, Mona is nowhere to be found. Instead, six feet of hotness named Jackson James is pouring drinks and keeping the place humming.

Sexy and intense, Jax is in Calla’s business from they moment they meet, giving her a job and helping her search for Mona. And the way he looks at her makes it clear he wants to get horizontal . . . and maybe something more. Before Calla can let him get close, though, she’s got to deal with the pain of the past—and some very bad guys out to mess her up if she doesn't give them her mom.
Second - The Swoon:

"I gotta tell you that I love you, Calla," he said, and I was surprised the heart monitor didn’t catch the fact it felt like my heart had stopped for a moment. "No bullshit. I do. I love the way you think, even if it’s annoying as f*** at times and even then it’s still cute. I love that there’s a shit ton of things you’ve never gotten to experience and that you’re going to get to experience them with me. That I have that honor. I love your strength and everything you’ve survived. I love your courage and I love that you make shit drinks, but no one cares, because you’re so damn nice."

Jax is one big sweet heart. You got to love the way he puts it all out there for Calla.
Like the first three books in the series, this was another highly emotional and and intense read.

My rating: 5 out of 5

Waiting on Wednesday # 68 ~ A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses #2) by Sarah J. Maas

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine which spotlights highly anticipated upcoming releases.

This week I'm waiting on:

A Court of Mist and Fury
(A Court of Thorns and Roses #2)
by
Sarah J. Maas

Expected publication: May 3rd, 2016

Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court--but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms--and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future--and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

Be with Me
(Wait for You #2)
by
 Jennifer L. Armentrout

First - The Blurb:

Teresa Hamilton is having a rough year—she’s in love with her big brother’s best friend, but he hasn’t spoken to her since they shared a truly amazing, mind-blowing, change-your-life kiss. She got out of a terrible relationship. And now an injury is threatening to end her dance career for good. It’s time for Plan B – college. And maybe a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.

Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he’s not telling anyone. Especially not his best friend’s incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn’t have time for a relationship. But it doesn’t help that all he can think about kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.

As they’re thrown together more and more, Jase and Tess can’t keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they’re willing to risk to be together, and what they’re willing to lose if they’re not…

Second - The Tease(rs):

Tease #1
Jase lowered his head and his mouth was on mine before I even realized what was happening. My brain was way behind what was going on, but he kissed me - he was kissing me. His lips were on mine, and there was nothing soft and sweet about this kiss.
I was branded in seconds.

Tease #2
"You know, I’ve tried staying away from you. I’ve tried ignoring how I feel about you, which isn’t how I should feel. But it’s like fighting a losing battle. And I don’t want to fight it anymore. I don’t want to ignore this."
...Jase

Tease #3
"I’ve never been more sorry in my life about anything."
He dropped his forehead to mine and with a silky soft kiss, he gently parted my lips, working his velvety tongue against mine. "And I’m more than willing to spend the rest of my life making it up to you, because I love you, Tess. I am so f***ing in love with you in a way I’ve never loved someone before." His eyes glittered with hunger and love. "Please let me prove that to you. Please, Tess."

Oh my gosh. This was one amazing, emotional and totally captivating read. Another definite winner from JLA.

My rating: 5 out of 5

TBR Tuesday #130 ~ Let Me Be the One (Let Me #1) by Lily Foster & Let Me Love You (Let Me #2) by Lily Foster

My good friend Sharrice from Reese's Reviews: My Addiction to Fiction came up with the idea of 'TBR Tuesday'

If you want to join in the fun, then just do the following:
From your book shelf or your e-reader, pick a book that you own that is still on your TBR list. Post it however you want to, then leave a link below so others can see what's waiting to be read.

This week for me its:

Let Me Be the One
(Let Me #1)
by
Lily Foster

Running away can be a good thing…

From the outside, Darcy Donovan’s life seems perfect. She’s beautiful, intelligent, popular and dating a guy who is every girl’s dream.
But nothing that seems perfect ever really is.
A year abroad is her escape—a chance to put some distance between them and also a chance to leave behind the shaken, insecure girl she has become.

Tom Farrell has been waiting in the wings, watching as his friend screws up a relationship with the one girl Tom considers out of his reach.
An entire year passes with Tom making changes in his life; changes he hopes will make Darcy see that he’s the one worthy of her heart—that he should be the one.

Let Me Be the One is the first book in the Let Me series intended for readers 18 and older due to mature content.
The Let Me series is a collection of stand-alone stories. There are no cliff-hangers but the books are inter-connected as characters are introduced that may feature in subsequent story lines.
If you are a fan of Happily Ever Afters that come only after the characters struggle, stumble and sometimes fail...then you will laugh, cry, occasionally cringe, and ultimately fall in love right along with them.

Let Me Be the One: Darcy and Tom
Let Me Love You: Rene and Caleb
Let Me Go: Dylan and Kasia
Let Me Heal Your Heart: Anna and Declan

And...

Let Me Love You
(Let Me #2)
by
Lily Foster

I picked up both of these when they were free on Amazon. Not sure when I'll get to read them though.
